FLOCS SERVICES TO MEMBER SCHOOLS

Evaluation and accreditation.

FLOCS encourages all members to provide the highest level of Christian school excellence. Voluntary accreditation is the cornerstone of this goal. FLOCS provides an accreditation process for both preschool and K-12 schools that is recognized nationally through the Association of Christian Teachers and Schools and the National Council for Private School Accreditation.

The FLOCS accreditation process involves initial application, meeting the accreditation standards, preparing a self-study, hosting a visiting team, and receiving approval by the FLOCS Board and the ACTS Accreditation Commission.

This exciting program includes educational materials to help children connect with the spiritual need of their counterparts in less fortunate areas of the world.

Legal and Legislative Affairs Representative

At the national level, Dr. Bryan Sanders, attorney, has been appointed ACTS/FLOCS Legal and Legislative Affairs Representative. At the state level, FLOCS has partnered with the Florida Association of Accredited Non-Public Schools (FAANS). FAANS serves as a vital link between FLOCS schools and the Florida Legislature, the Florida Department of Education, and provides information for the many inquiries from parents, the media, national school organizations, and government agencies for information related to nonpublic school education in Florida.
