Florida Child Care Professional Credential
The
Florida League of Christian Schools provides a state approved FCCPC
program which offers training to satisfy
the Florida Staff Credential requirements and is approved by the Florida
Department of Children and Families. The Florida Child
Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) Training is a 120-hour program
designed to prepare students to honor God as child care workers and
teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality
Christian childcare programs. The completion of these courses coupled
with 480 hours work experience qualifies the student for their FCCPC. This program requires students to attend courses for 12 weeks meeting two weeknights each week, or one Saturday each week, depending on course location. A student completing the FCCPC Training will be
able to meet the specific needs of children and work with parents and
other adults to nurture spiritual, physical, social, emotional, and
intellectual growth of children in a child development framework.
