Our Purpose


Fall Tournament Dates:

The Florida League of Christian Schools is proud to sponsor state-level athletic competition for middle and junior high grade levels. It is our mission to help member schools teach students how to honor God through the rigors of physical discipline. Our program seeks to recognize those Christian students, teams, and coaches whom excel in athletic ability.

Middle School is defined as grades 6-8, however, if you can field a player in a lower grade if they make your team. Home schooled students can play, but you must show proof they are registered with your school for athletics. JV is defined as grades 9-10.

Age Rules & Registration Requirements

Grade based tournaments are based solely upon the grade of participating players. Teams must submit roster with all required information before beginning tournament play complete with parent signature.

Middle School:

Middle School is defined as grades 6-8; however, you can field a player in a lower grade if they make your team. However, no students below grade 4 will be allowed to play in tournament games. A student born before October 1, 1995 will not be permitted to play in Middle School Tournaments.

Junior Varsity:

JV is defined as grades 9-10; however, an 8th grade student who makes the JV team in regular season may be rostered for the tournament. No student above 10th grade will be permitted to play in Junior Varsity Tournaments. A student may only be rostered once in the same sport, meaning that a student may not be rostered for both Middle school AND JV soccer teams, but MAY be rostered for two sports (i.e. Middle School Soccer AND Middle School Volleyball). A student born before October 1, 1993 may not play in Junior Varsity Tournaments.

Home School Students:

Home schooled students can play, however they must be registered to play sports for the school, and must be in the grade, and age bracket for the tournament in which they are participating.

Teams electing to protest eligibility of a player or players on a team must do so prior to the start of a game accompanied by a $75 cash deposit. Protest will not be accepted once a game begins. If the player is found to be ineligible, or if proper documentation cannot be produced, the $75 cash deposit will be returned. If a player is found to be ineligible, or if proper documentation cannot be produced, that player will be disqualified from further participation in the tournament. The player's team may continue in tournament play without the player.
